Description
The Micsig CP2100 series comprises compact and versatile AC/DC current probes specifically designed for precise measurements in demanding applications such as motor drives, frequency converters, power supplies and avionics. This series offers two models, the CP2100A and the CP2100B, which are characterised by different bandwidths and measuring ranges and thus cover a wide range of requirements.
The CP2100A has a bandwidth of DC to 800 kHz and is particularly suitable for applications requiring precise current measurements in the 50 mA to 100 A range. For applications requiring higher frequencies, the CP2100B offers an extended bandwidth from DC to 2.5 MHz, making it ideal for measuring high-frequency currents.
Both models can measure currents of up to 100 amps peak, offering a typical accuracy of ±3 % at lower currents and ±15 % in the 40 A to 100 A range. The probes are equipped with automatic and manual zero-point calibration and have an overload indicator that signals both audibly and with a flashing button when the measuring range is exceeded.
An outstanding feature of the CP2100 series is its uncomplicated handling and versatility. Thanks to the USB power supply, the probes do not require an external power source, which greatly simplifies their use. The connection to oscilloscopes and other measuring devices is made via a standard BNC interface, which facilitates integration into existing measuring systems.
The probes of the CP2100 series are designed for conductor diameters of up to 13 mm, allowing them to be used in a wide range of applications. Their robust and compact design makes them easy to use even in confined or difficult to access areas.
