Description

The Micsig ACP1000 probe was developed to make the measurement of alternating currents in industrial and electronic applications safe and uncomplicated. These current clamps make it possible to measure currents without interrupting the circuit, making measurements not only safer but also more convenient.

Key features of the ACP1000 series:

Wide measuring range and high precision: the ACP1000 series offers a wide measuring range from 0.1 A to 1000 A, with an accuracy of ±1 %. It is also capable of measuring peak currents of up to 2000 A (for up to 2 seconds) for short periods.

Simple signal evaluation: These clamps provide an output signal in mV/A that is proportional to the measured current. This enables direct and precise analysis without the need for additional conversions.

Versatile frequency range: With a frequency range from 10 Hz to 100 kHz, the ACP1000 series is suitable for a wide range of applications, including analysing alternating currents in motors, drives and industrial controls.

Compact and robust design: The ACP1000 current clamps are compact and robust, with a maximum clamping diameter of 52 mm, and have been developed for use in demanding environments. They function reliably in a temperature range from -15 °C to 75 °C.

High safety standards: The series complies with safety class CAT III 600V, making it ideal for use in high-voltage environments.

Flexible connection options: Equipped with a 1.5 m insulated BNC cable, the current clamps can be easily connected to oscilloscopes. With an optional BNC/Banana adapter, they can also be used with multimeters.

Versatile application possibilities: The ACP1000 series is optimal for monitoring power grids, analysing current waveforms in drives and motor controls, measuring currents in power transformers and avionics systems.
