Description
SATO1004: four channels with 12 bits
The Micsig SATO1004 combines four channels, a 100 MHz bandwidth, and 12-bit vertical resolution. The 4096 resolution levels describe the gradation of the captured signal amplitude. In addition to software for vehicle diagnostics, the device offers general oscilloscope functions. The display measures 8 inches and has a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels.
The maximum sampling rate and memory depth depend on the channel configuration: 1 GSa/s and 110 Mpts for one channel, 500 MSa/s and 55 Mpts for two channels, and 250 MSa/s and 27.5 Mpts for three or four channels. USB 3.0 host, USB-C, LAN, HDMI, trigger output, and SCPI are included.
The device, which is only 31 mm thin, can be operated via the capacitive touchscreen, buttons, and rotary encoder. According to the manufacturer, the removable lithium-ion battery provides approximately four hours of operation. It can be charged via the 12V power adapter or USB-C at 5V. Wi-Fi functionality requires an additional connected Wi-Fi module.

The 8-inch display shows measurement curves with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. The waveform acquisition rate is up to 50,000 wfms/s. For integration into a measurement environment, the SATO1004 offers a USB 3.0 host port, USB-C, and LAN. HDMI and a trigger output complete the interfaces. SCPI is supported for device control.
The housing measures 265 × 174 × 31 mm and weighs 1.68 kg. It includes a 3.7 V battery with a capacity of 16,000 mAh. Automotive software and general oscilloscope functions are integrated into the same device.
