Description
The Micsig MHO3-2504 is a 12-bit benchtop oscilloscope with a bandwidth of 250 MHz, four channels, a maximum real-time sampling rate of 1 GSa/s and a memory depth of 200 Mpts. With its high 12-bit resolution, the MHO3-2504 offers exceptional measurement accuracy, which is essential for detailed analyses. This model is ideal for applications requiring precise signal acquisition in medium frequency ranges, such as power electronics, analogue circuit design and detailed fault analysis. It is particularly suitable for development and diagnostics in environments where even small signal deviations need to be captured and analysed, making it perfect for general and specialised electronics development.MHO
series
The Micsig MHO3 series is characterised by its 12-bit resolution, which offers a significant improvement in measurement accuracy and signal reproduction compared to conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes. The integrated 12-bit ADC (analogue-to-digital converter) enables a much finer signal resolution, which is particularly advantageous when recording small voltage changes. This high resolution ensures that even the smallest signal details are displayed clearly and precisely, making it much easier to analyse complex waveforms. The MHO3 series offers the same extensive functions as the MDO series, including an analogue bandwidth of up to 500 MHz, a real-time sampling rate of 3 GSa/s, as well as comprehensive trigger and analysis functions such as edge, pulse width, logic and bus triggers. However, thanks to the 12-bit ADC, the MHO series offers up to 16 times higher vertical resolution than an 8-bit system, which is particularly beneficial when analysing low voltage level signals.
A key benefit of the 12-bit ADC is the ability to capture signals with higher accuracy, resulting in less quantisation noise and better representation of subtle signal nuances. This makes the MHO3 series ideal for applications where precision and detail are critical, such as electronics development, signal processing and scientific research.
In addition to these technical advantages, the MHO3 series also offers the same ease of use and flexibility as the MDO series. These include the high-resolution 14-inch TFT display, versatile connectivity options, including USB 3.0, USB-C, HDMI and LAN, as well as support for remote control and SCPI programming.
Overall, the Micsig MHO3 series is an advanced solution for engineers and technicians who demand the highest precision and detail in their measurements. Thanks to the 12-bit ADC and the associated improved signal accuracy, this series is particularly suitable for demanding applications where conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes reach their limits
Features
Oscilloscope features

12 bit vertical resolution
MHO3 features a high-resolution 12-bit ADC with a quantisation level of up to 4096, which is 16 times that of the conventional 8-bit ADC, helping users to observe waveform details more comprehensively and clearly.

Very low noise floor
The noise of the MHO3 series is less than 80 μVrms at full bandwidth of 500 MHz, allowing engineers to accurately capture weak but important signals during circuit debugging.

Hardware Digital Filter
Hardware digital filtering can selectively pass or block signal components within a specific frequency range, which is very useful for analysing specific frequency bands of a signal or observing changes in specific frequency components.

360 Mpts memory depth
A memory depth of up to 360 Mpts ensures excellent signal fidelity, the segmented memory divides the limited memory space into several small segments, effectively capturing target signals multiple times over a long period of time and replaying them for further analysis.

Many trigger functions

Serial bus decoding & trigger
Supports serial triggering and decoding (RS-232/422/485/UART, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SPI, I²C, ARINC-429, MIL-STD1553B) as well as edge, pulse, logic, time out, Dwart PW, slope, N edge and video trigger.

Automatic measurements
31 automatic measurements for a wide range of measurement requirements.

Screen sharing function
the screen content of the oscilloscope can be easily streamed to an external monitor via the built-in HDMI connection.
